Until recently if you required a Duplicate MOT Certificate you had to contact the Station that tested the vehicle. If you did not know when or where the vehicle was tested, obtaining a Duplicate Certificate was either difficult or impossible. Now this is starting to change!
In the spring of 2005 VOSA (Vehicle and Operator Services Agency) started the roll-out of Computerised MOT testing at all 19,000 testing stations in England, Scotland and Wales. It is expected that all MOT stations will be using the Computerised system by Spring 2006.
Old style Certificates were A5 and hand written. New style are A4 size and computer printed.
If your vehicle was tested using the computer system we can arrange to supply you with a Duplicate Certificate, by First Class Post, for only £10.00 If your vehicles was tested at an MOT station that was not using Computerisation at the time of test, we cannot supply you a Duplicate.
To order a Duplicate MOT Certificate you will need:-
Your Credit Card - payments are collected via our Secure Payment Transactor PROTX.
Your vehicle Registration Number and either
[A] The MOT test number off your new style MOT Certificate or
[B] Your V5C (Log Book) Document Reference Number.
Credit Cards are not debited until your Certificate is ready for posting.
